Mission: To accompany the people of the Maji District in SW Ethiopia as they pursue community development for the flourishing of mind, body and soul.
Maji Development Coalition exists to express love and respect for the people of Maji District, Ethiopia. Partnering with like-minded individuals and churches in the United States, we deploy resources to make solar electricity, clean water, health care, and women’s self-help groups available to the poorest of the global poor in the largely forgotten Maji District (about 35,000 people).
Working through our Ethiopian employees and business partners, we show our deep respect for the expertise and ingenuity of the Ethiopian people in helping themselves. We partner with leaders in Maji District’s government, communities and churches to identify needs and to fund and create development that improves the lives of all.
